How are you guys? I have a client in San Francisco bay area who has a
contract-to-hire position available right now. They are in need of a
strong embedded linux/kernel developer. See description below and let me
know if this is something you would be interested in:

Product:  DSL Enhancement Box

Duties:  Consultant will be in charge of the General Purpose Processor
Board (GPP) and re-writing socket applications.  The socket based
communication is on 2 separate Ethernet ports.  Will be doing hard
deadline eral-time system specification and design, as well as linux
system cross development.  Aslo, IP based communications protocols
specification and development. 

 

Hard deadline real time system specification and design

Linux real time system configuration for a flash based system

Linux system cross development

IP based communications protocols specification and development

High Profile, High Responsibility Position

Full time on site contract position (minimum 3 months to possible
permanent employment

 

Required skills:

 

10+ years Embedded Real-time development

Embedded linux experience (roughly 5+ years)

C Programming

Sockets programming experience
