I've never seen that.  I've always had to make sure the window I want to
grab is in the front before I grab it, otherwise any overlapping windows
will be included in my screenshot.

Of course, I only tried screenshots in Gimp 2.0 once, and it came out
all bizarre colors!!!  (Ksnapshot still worked fine... *shrug*)
