#1:  Speaking at the GTC

 

Please review the following attachment to assess if your Professional
Association would like to provide a speaker.  The topics, time slots and
dates have been preset by GTC.  For the ALL DAY sessions, I have asked
clarification if they seek ONLY one speaker for the entire day class, or
if multiple speakers are okay.    At this point, I will assume the
later.    

 

THE APPLICATION and it's required information MUST BE returned by MONDAY
MARCH 19th to me.   

 

DO NOT send the application back to GTC directly, PLEASE send to me as a
single point of collection for the Professional Organizations of
Sacramento.   GTC (GovTech) will not understand it any other way.

 

If anyone seeks assistance in identifying a speaker, please let me know
and I will do my best to identify some one who can fly under your
organizational banner.

 

#2:  Booth Planning Session

 

The original March 20th date seems to be too short notice.   Please plan
to send a representative on Monday, March 26th at 5pm for 1 hour at the
following location:

Hi Bart,

 

It was a pleasure speaking with you this morning.  I have reviewed your
request with my management and have received approval to offer your
professional associations a comp 10x10 booth on the GTC West Expo floor.
I confirmed that a 10x10 booth is the largest size comp booth we offer
to professional associations.   The 10x10 booth includes: pipe and drape
and a small generic sign only.   Your organizations will be responsible
for all booth decorating fees such as: carpeting, electricity,
table/chairs and internet connectivity.  Per our conversation, I
understand that your booth will be branded as: "Professional
Organizations of Sacramento".   Maggie Ransier will be following up with
you on your booth reservation paperwork as your booth name falls under
her area of responsibility.  We are holding booth # 1137 for you.  See
attached floor plan for the location.

 

I will send you a separate email on any possible speaking opportunities
after I have reviewed the current available topics with our Director of
Education Programs.

 

I look forward to working with you and will keep you posted on any
available rooms for your PIL interest.
