Job#3: Senior J2EE Developer for Fixed Income (FI)
Clearing Portal Developer

Full-time Permanent; Job Location: New York, NY

Responsibility: Design and develop applications to
support FI business. Maintain and enhance existing
applications. Attend meetings with peers, users, q/a,
and management. Develop and/or understand
specification, documentation, and design solutions as
per software development guidelines established within
the firm. Provide regular project status to the
management and/or users. Fixed Income provides various
technology solutions to sales, trading, and operations
desks. The candidate is expected to be proficient in
design, development, and testing of various
technologies specified below. 

SKILLS
General: Senior Software Developer with J2EE
development experience. Self starter. Team Player,
Good Communication skills required --- must be able to
interact with the business on specification, user
acceptance testing, and deployment. Project Management
experience is also required (project time estimates,
time tracking, documentation, and project tracking).
Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time
based on the current demand.

Technology: Unix/Linux OS, Hands-on development
experience in these areas:
J2EE/Servlets/JSP/Beans/JMS/JDBC, Strong XML/XSLT
background, GUI development,
JBuilder/Eclipse/Ants/Weblogic, EAR/JAR Deployment and
Build experience, and Clearcase. Must know how to use
web services, Broadvision portal is a definite plus.

Education: BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science
or Math preferred.

Business: Fixed Income background a definite plus.
