LINUX Administrator

The client is looking to build a Linux environment and they need a
person that can get them there, and help give direction in the
organization of that environment.  The person needs to bring something
to the table and have good communication skills. A four year degree is
not necessary but it would be a plus.

Senior Linux Network Systems Admn. with over four years of hands-on
experience. The right person will have experience on Linux and be able
to also work with Windows 2K as well.

JOB DUTIES:

*         Responsible for administering and maintaining all LINUX
servers.

*         Will evaluate hardware and software needs for other
departments, and keep systems up and running for users to access.

*         Will troubleshoot system when high level hardware, software
problems arise, back up system, and recover files requested by users.
Responsible to administer user accounts and network peripherals.

*         May handle different servers, including mail servers, web
servers, NIS servers, database servers, and firewall servers.

*         In order of priority, we are looking for the following:
1) Red Hat Linux (Expert level knowledge)
2) Unix- Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, TRU64 (Strong knowledge)
3) Windows - Windows 2000, 2003 (Administrator level knowledge - not an
Active Directory guru, just someone that can provide min server
support).
