qualified.	High volume internet Operations Engineer w/  focus on EMAIL..

Large volume email software operations: SMTP, MIME, sending, receiving,
etc - exp. dealing with ISPs, SPAM detection, email bouncing, email black
lists as well as  experience w/ supporting Operations.

We are looking for self-motivated and exp. operations and software tools
development engineer, to work on the  production machine setup and make a
big impact to our users.

Responsibilities: - software operations and tools deployment - real-time
and asynchronous monitoring of site quality, traffic, and performance -
configuration of production servers - software and database installations
- backup, recovery, and fixing data corruption

Expected SAGE Level: IV (Senior)
The company is looking for: Contract staff
The position is: a Time limited Position with an expected duration of 6
months + to possible perm. The expected salary is 50-60 hr.

Limitations:

Required: - experience in unix working environment (FreeBSD, Linux,
Solaris) - shell scripting skills (tcsh, bash, system tools, ssh, cron) -
Perl, Python, or Tcl - self-motivation and ability to multitask and
prioritize - BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Highly desired: - good knowledge of computer networking (IP, DNS, VIP) -
PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Apache, and Internet protocols (SMTP,  HTTP) - site
monitoring tools such as NetSaint/Nagios - C/C++/Python programming
experience, web development,  software web release - good communication
skills - previous work experience in software site operations and
maintenance
