- Screen Support:
- Improved screen resolution selection in 'Tux Paint Config.'
GUI (separate pulldowns for width and height, and many more
common resolutions listed)
- Tell Tux Paint to run in fullscreen using whatever the current
resolution is (i.e.,
--fullscreen --native
)
- Option to swap width/height (useful for tablet PCs which can
switch orientation)
- Localization Improvements:
- Improved Unicode Latin character support (helped with most
European languages)
- Spoken descriptions for stamps (only in a few languages,
so far)
- Even more translations (Arabic, Faroese, Gujarati, Latvian,
Ndebele, Scottish Gaelic, South African English, Tagalog, Telugu,
Tibetan, Twi, Venda, Xhosa)
- New Features:
- Slideshow - select multiple images from 'Open' dialog and
cycle through them at various speeds (good for simple flip-book
animations, or presentations)
- Directional brushes (changes shape depending on which way you
draw)
- Animated brushes (cycling, or randomized, as you draw)
- Stereo panning sound effects (e.g., 'paint' sound effect moves
between speakers as you draw across the screen)
