  • News
    • Website migrated successfully to a new VPS; thanks to Rod Roark of Sunset Systems for continuing to host our site and mailing lists
    • Smashwords hiring senior engineer and frontend developer
    • Dennis Stevense, of Streamline, (our guest speaker) mentioned they're looking for a frontend developer
    • Next meeting, February 20th at Explorit; topic TBA
  • Financial Report
    • Our current balance, prior to reimbursements for the anniversary meeting expenditures, is $896.61
    • $9.28 in donations were collected
  • Special Elections
    • Since November, LUGOD was still in need of a President ("root") and Vice President ("sys")
    • Tim Thatcher, our current Treasurer ("/dev/null") offered to nominate himself for Vice President, if someone else can fill the Treasurer vacancy
    • Will Marshall nominated himself for Treasurer; running unopposed, and with no objection from those in attendance, he was elected to that position
    • Tim therefore nominated himself for Vice President; running unopposed, and with no objection from those in attendance, he was elected to that position
    • Therefore, at this time our officers are:
      • President (root): None (Bill Kendrick continues to act as defacto president in the meantime)
      • Vice President (sys): Tim Thatcher
      • Secretary: Kenny Lyons
      • Treasurer: Will Marshall
