  • Installfests - About 8 people who needed Linux help showed up. (They mainly just needed Linux help, as opposed to full installations.)

  • LERT - No news. Send email to lert@lugod.org if you need emergency Linux help.

  • Library - No news. (See below).

  • Officer Nominations - Nominations for LUGOD Officers open today, and close at our next meeting (April 18th):

    • Emily isn't running for root
    • Dimitry isn't running for sys
    • Ken can't run for typescript
    • Hans Uhlig was nominated for root, by Ken Bloom
    • Bill Kendrick was nominated for root, by Dimitry Ivanov
    • Ryan Castalluci was nominated for sys, by Dimitry Ivanov; when asked at Crepeville, Ryan accepted.
    • Emily Stumpf nominated herself for typescript

  • Book Raffle - O'Reilly sent us a collection of books. Since the Lending Library usage has been so low lately, we decided to raffle them away: Tom won PC Hacks, Richard Harke won IPv6, Matthew Helms and Jeff each won a copy of Knoppix Hacks, and Dimitry Ivanov won Agressive Network Self-Defense.

  • Financial Report - $16.20 in voluntary dues were collected.
