  • March 5th SVLUG is a talk from Seth Schoen of the EFF.

  • Professor of Information Systems, Sameer Verma of San Francisco State University is creating a survey about Open Source (for both developers and end-users) and is interested in feedback about the survey (the questions themselves).

Project Reports

  • Demo - Our next demo will be at the Davis Food Co-Op on March 15th from 3pm-6pm.

  • Installfests - The next Installfest will be on Sunday, March 16th.

  • LERT - No activity.

  • Library - No activity.

Other Business

  • Financial Report - $??.?? in voluntary dues were collected.

Presentation

  • Asa Dotzler of Netscape Communication, and project and release manager of the Mozilla web browser at Mozilla.org, talked about how the project works, what technology is used (Bugzilla, Tinderbox, etc.), and how people can get involved.
