  • Demo - Next demo to be April 21st at Border's Books. Plenty of people have volunteered. It will probably be held between 3pm and 6pm.

Other Business

  • LUGOD CD - "Winter 2001" LUGOD CDs were available.

  • Linux K-12 i-Day - LUGOD contacted the Yolo school district to see if they were interested in the Linux Terminal Server Project, which was giving away 1000 Celeron CPUs to schools. Unfortunately, since they focus on Windows, they were not interested.

  • Financial Report - $43.00 in voluntary dues were collected.

  • Game Show - Mark K. Kim is almost finished with a "buzz-in" device for a trivia game show LUGOD will be having at some point.

Presentation

  • Gabriel Rosa talked about FLTK (Fast/Light Toolkit), a C++ library designed as a drop-in replacement for Xforms, and which is simpler and leaner than more common GUI libraries (like GTK+, Qt and Windows).
