[vox] Linux As Microsoft's Little Helper

Because I'm not a tech person it's hard for me to understand a lot of 
stuff.  This week I've read four or five articles about Microsoft 
putting its own Linux kernel into Windows 10. But I didn't understand 
why until I read this one:

Microsoft is trying to lure Windows developers away from the Mac. And it 
appears that many Microsoft employees use Macs at work.

I believe that both Microsoft and Apple have over the years tried to 
beat back Linux as a viable desktop, and I'd bet Microsoft would still 
act to thwart Linux in the desktop world.

The world is crazy. Just yesterday Mike Pompeo said that global warming 
will allow an increase in trade because ships will be able to travel 
through what is now the polar ice cap. And today I learn that Linux is 
Microsoft's little helper.
