Dart is a new programming language for structured web programming. The
Dart project includes a language, libraries, a virtual machine, and
even an IDE. It also takes a fresh look at DOM and HTML interfaces.
Join Seth Ladd, a Developer Advocate with the Chrome team, as he gives
a tour of Dart and its motivations.
Seth is a Developer Advocate at Google. He produced the conference
"Aloha on Rails" and is producing "New Game", the conference for HTML5
game developers. He wrote the book "Expert Spring MVC and Web Flow",
and he helped release Angry Birds for the web. Seth is currently on
the board of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
Meetings are open to the public and are free of charge.
