On Saturday, September 20th, groups around the globe will celebrate
"Software Freedom Day," and share information and resources on sustainable
technologies and Free and Open Source software with people in their
communities.
The Linux Users' Group of Davis joins over 500 teams from over 120 countries
in this celebration, with an information booth at the Davis Farmer's Market
at Central Park in downtown Davis (4th and C Streets).
LUGOD members will be available to discuss and demonstrate Linux and
other open source software, and visitors can try things themselves,
'hands-on'. Free software discs and informational handouts will also
be available.
