If the OP is OK with a text-based client, I would highly recommend yafc.
What I like about it is that you can specify a directory to log in to at
the remote machine.  This is invaluable to me, as I frequently FTP
to/from a specific directory.  So, I make a shell alias for logging in
at that directory, thus saving myself typing that I would have to do
with, for example, sftp.
