[vox-tech] Need data copied off a laptop HD

My laptop just bit the dust thanks to a failed bios update. In the
meantime, I need to get my data off the hard drive. everything should be
compressable down to under 3 gigs. I have drivelock enabled on the thing,
so I'll need somthing that can deal with that (I have the password of
course)

Lemme know if you can help.


Also, I want to say, COMPAQ should have a failsafe in place to let the
thing at least boot a rescue floppy. Soldering on the bios chip also
strikes me as stupid.
