Dear Dr. Mohapatra,
 
I represent the UC Davis, California AgrAbility Project in the Dept. of
Bio and Ag Engineering. We work with California farmers and workers who
have disabilities and injuries, assisting them to continue farming. We
get some interesting requests for assistance and we always try to find
low-cost solutions and resources to help them get on their feet. I have
attached a brochure for your information.
 
Currently we are working with a disabled farmer outside of Sacramento
who has a couple of computer-based needs: (1) he needs to develop a
marketing website for his farm to introduce buyers to his products; and
(2) he also has anew PC that runs slowly even though it is only about a
year and a half old. We are contacting you to see if you could make
recommendations for assisting the farmer, i.e., a student intern who
may
be willing to in donate some time in this regard. We are actually going
to the farm the week of July 28th and ideally would like to take a
computer "specialist" with us.
