C++ Developer for Stealth Startup

About Us:
We are a San Francisco based startup, currently operating in stealth mode with a disruptive new hardware/software platform. Our team is made up of exceptional experts in their fields. They are people passionate about the technology with prior startup expertise. We are on a fast track to deliver evaluation kits to select partners. 

About the Job: 
This is a short term, consulting position starting immediately.

The goal is to develop a series of applications which demonstrate what can be done with our technology, and provide our partners with the prototype tools they will need to access our technology.

The end result will be a proof of functionality and robust prototype level software, not a final platform or consumer level product

The project will involve rapidly building the application interface to our device
 * Modifying driver level code 
 * Integrating our algorithms
 * Integrating 3rd party and/or open source code

Qualifications:
 * High energy/self-starter with the ability to work independently
 * Must be able to dedicate full time for the duration of the project
 * Strong background in high performance C, C++ (Embedded Software experience a plus)
 * Video data processing, analysis, manipulation
 * Designing, implementation, and testing in Windows environments
 * Working knowledge with UVC video drivers or other experience writing or modifying video drivers
 * Proficient in geometry and linear algebra, with interests in video processing, optics and lasers
 * Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
 * Strong organizational, oral and written communications skills

Additional Expertise In:
 * Computer vision
 * 3D or image processing experience
 * Image based object recognition and tracking as well as gesture recognition and tracking 
 * Previous experience working with video image sensor data

Important:
Please note that due to the short time frame of this project, you will need to work closely with the CEO to insure that the project stays on track. Being available for face to face meetings frequently is an essential criteria. Expected to work in an AGILE model with weekly demonstrable sprint deliverables.
