UNIX Sys Admin, Armonk, NY | to $75/hour 

This is a 6-12 month on-site, contract/hourly gig located in Armonk, NY
paying to $75/hour.  Full company details provided to qualified applicants. 

Requirements: 

* 5+ years experience in Unix systems and infrastructure administration and
engineering 
* Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills 
* Solaris and Linux (SLES and/or Red Hat) experience required 
* Perl Programming experience required 

Duties: 

* New NetApp storage projects 
* Expand the VMWare environment
* Move some boxes from Solaris to Red Hat 
* Do some Perl/scripting 
* Interact with the business and the developers 

Recruiter Notes: 

* 3 guys on the team right now 
* Storage includes NetApp and Equalogic: they want to get rid of tapes, set
up NetApp Snap Vault 
* Expand the current VMWare environment 
* Support Red Hat and migrate some boxes from Solaris 
* Support the UNIX mail 
* Some work with LDAP and NAS 
* Current storage team is strong, they could use help with Red Hat, NetApp
and VMWare 
* Candidates have to come out of high performance, 24/7 production
environments, no fluff
