SpectSoft is looking for a few very good Linux Programmers and Computer geeks 
who have a deep understanding of software application engineering and the 
ability to collaborate in a small team.

We are very flexible with hours and pay will vary depending on skills and are 
looking for individuals who want to grow with the company, who are not 
afraid of a challenge.  We work in one of the fastest changing industries in 
the world and the target is always moving. We have full time/Part time and 
Contract (on-site) work available and are looking to employee from the area.  
All code is written in-house and passed onto our customer base. Interested in 
seeing how your hard work can be seen on the silver screen.


Responsibilities: 
Managing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously. 
Daily interactions with engineers, technicians, sales and customers.
Managing individual projects. 
Creating and maintaining timelines. 
Work to develop detailed and creative solutions, while keeping an eye on 
timelines.

Qualifications: 
Excellent Linux skills
Experience with strong C/C++ or equivalent application development. 
Experience with Bash / Perl 
Developing and deploying GUI based applications. 
GUI Programming, QT development experience a plus 
Socket programming 
Familiarity with CVS or Subversion 
Linux kernel programming 
Familiarity with Qt (Trolltech GUI toolkit) 
Slackware Knowledge
Experience with MSQL Database
Hardware and systems experience (both 32 and 64bit)
Experience working with a large code base 
Film/Video experience would be an added plus but not necessary.
