We are looking for a Software Validation Engineer to join our expanding
software team working with Mobilygen's H.264 video chips.

Software Validation Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for an adaptable and versatile Software Validation Engineer
to join our expanding software team and to work on building and automate the
framework and the tests needed to validate and verify Mobilygen's H.264
video codec SDK.

The Software Validation Engineer will be responsible for the following:
. Designing and implementing unit-test code generators to provide API-level
test coverage to Mobilygen's SDK, primarily in Lua and in C/C++.
. Implementing unit-tests to provide functional level test coverage to
Mobilygen's SDK, primarily in Lua and in C/C++.
. Designing and documenting test plans and strategies.
. Investigating, designing and implementing new features for Mobilygen's
automated test environment and enhancing existing ones.

Requirements:
. BSCS and 2+ years experience in software validation and verification or
MSCS.
. Excellent C/C++ programming skills a must.
. Solid programming skills in Lua desirable.
. Strong object-oriented programming skills a must.
. Good understanding of contemporary QA/Test principles and methodologies
and software development processes a must.
. Experiences in coding within a Linux environment desirable.
. Experiences in programming in other scripting languages a plus (Perl, PHP,
bash, etc).
. Meticulous attention to detail, excitement towards problem solving and
troubleshooting, being self-learning, well spoken, self-motivated and
adaptable are some of the attributes needed for this position.
