Environment

Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements information systems that are thorough, accurate and conform to Client's standards. Translates feature requirements, system solutions and detailed specifications into software programming tasks and schedules. Test, code, debug, and document these tasks on schedule. Solve problems of business services, work flow and e-commerce applications using defined frameworks and methodologies.

Note: Duties and responsibilities vary based on role(s) played in each project and incumbents may not perform all duties and responsibilities as listed.

PROJECT WORK
Work on Java Enterprise projects involving the development of a robust, scalable, 24x7 web infrastructure as well as the implementation of business driven features.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Good understanding of the fundamental computer science, internet and object-oriented design concepts
- Knowledge of Internet/networking protocols
- A working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server 
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- 4 years of Java experience in design, development, testing, and support of web based software solutions
- 2 years of JDBC, JUnit, JSP, JSTL, Java Servlets, Apache Ant, HTTP Server, Tomcat, and Struts
- 1 years of scripting SQL with MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle

- 1 years of scripting UNIX shells
- 1 year of eclipse or WSAD
