This opportunity is with our Converged Security Infrastructure Business
Unit in the EMTG - Emerging Markets Technology Group, a very fast paced
Start Up environment.  We are currently hiring a team of engineers
developing products in the physical security space.

 

This position involves designing, modifying, developing, writing and
implementing Linux C software programming for digital video applications
on both Embedded and Server Linux Platforms.

 

Linux Software Engineer
Linux OS, Linux C/C++ Programming, Texas Instruments, DSP, Bios
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements Linux C software
programming for digital video applications on both Embedded and Server
Linux Platforms.
-Coordinates work with the Windows Application teams.
-Familiarity with Texas Instruments DSPs and TI DSP Bios a plus.
-Performance/Load/Stress fault tolerant design for high availability and
high network usage of digital video surveillance systems.
-Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the development tools, Digital
Video processing such as MPEG-4 and distributed networking applications.
-Understands Unicast/Multicast Video/Audio network communications 
-Provides technical support to project team members.
