1.
Sr. Software Engineer / Team Lead (Applications Engineering)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Sr. Software Engineer will work in a team environment to
develop, test, deliver, and support effective, efficient and high
quality solutions for message and document archiving and retrieval
solutions, message workflow, content filtering and content mining.
* Will work with product management team to transform customer
requirements and needs into value-added and well-integrated solutions.
* Work closely with other team members.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must possess at least 8 years of hands on experience in the following
areas:
* At least 3 years of proven technical hands on team leadership
experience where the candidate played a significant role in a successful
roll out of one or more products into production. This experience is
absolutely essential for the job.
* Software design and development experience with Java / C++ on
Linux, UNIX and Windows platforms.
* Working knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Serer, and DB2) based
high transaction/volume systems highly is a must.
* Extensive business application development experience is a must.
* Proven ability to implement complex business logic involving
high transaction volume and high availability systems, involving
multi-tier architecture. Ideally candidate would have designed and led
developed for at least one such application from ground up.
* Proven ability to develop complex client/server and web-based
systems on multiple platforms is a must.
* Proven ability to technically lead projects involving multiple
participants where he/she assumed responsibility for a whole
product/project, which is delivered on time and according to specs.
* Proven ability to lead a team to higher productivity through
innovative ideas and procedures.
* Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
* Must possess excellent problem solving skills.
* Good communication skills to interact with other groups in the
organization.
* Proven ability to move forward with limited guidance and
possibly lead others in the team.
* Intangibles like energy, positive attitude, and ability to work
in team are an absolute must.
* Experience with developing software and systems with high
reliability, scalability, availability, and performance.
* Proven ability interface effectively with other engineering team
members, and other departments such as Quality Assurance, Professional
Services, and Operations.
EDUCATION:
* Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering is required
* Graduate level Degree/ Course work in Computer Science/
Engineering is a highly desirable.

Sr. Software Engineer / Team Lead (UI and Business Applications)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Sr. Software Engineer will work in a team environment to
develop, test, deliver and support effective, efficient and high quality
solutions for message and document archiving and retrieval solutions,
message workflow, content filtering and content mining.
* Will work with product management team to transform customer
requirements and needs into value-added and well-integrated solutions.
* Work closely with other team members.

/ VBScript and cascading style sheets is a must.
* Experience with HTTP, HTTPS and other internet protocols is a
must.
* Experience with developing UI applications interfacing with
complex web-based systems on multiple platforms is a must.
* Experience with developing software and systems with high
reliability, scalability, availability and performance.
* Proven ability to develop software and systems with high
reliability, scalability, availability and performance.
* Must possess excellent problem solving and communication skills.
* Proven ability interface effectively with other engineering team
members, and other departments such as Quality Assurance, Professional
Services and Operations.
HIGHLY DESIREABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Experience with installing and deploying web servers and
application servers is highly desirable.
* Experience with developing high availability web applications
with clustering and session fail over is highly desirable.
* Experience developing server-side web-based applications.
Experience with CGI/ISAPI definitely an asset.
* Proven ability to develop complex client/server and web-based
systems on multiple platforms is highly desirable.
* ASP development experience is desirable.
* Working knowledge of XML (including DTD and Schema) is
desirable.
EDUCATION:
* Undergraduate degree in engineering is required
* Degree/ Course work in Computer Science/ Engineering is a big
plus.
* Any Certification/Course work/ Working experience with UI
usability and human factor assessment would be a definite plus.
