Details of Vacancy:
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to help build and maintain the
infrastructure that supports PDI/DreamWorks' CG pipeline
Responsibilities - Monitor stability and performance of network and data
storage services, ensure 24x7 operation - Diagnose performance problems,
devise and deploy short- and long-term solutions to support scalability of
the CG pipeline - Design, deploy, monitor and support network
infrastructure - Maintain network information services such as DNS, LDAP,
and NTP - Proactively track performance and utilization of network
resources - Manage on-, near- and off-line storage systems - Monitor and
optimize performance of NAS systems - Help develop tools to maintain and
monitor the network and storage infrastructure - Coordinate with vendors
to resolve problems and track release of updates - Plan and implement
smooth transitions between product revisions - Write comprehensive
documentation for network and data storage practices and procedures -
Mentor less experienced Systems Administrators - Assist in general systems
administration tasks and user support

Requirements - BS in CS or equivalent experience - 7+ years experience

Extensive knowledge of RAID, NAS & SAN technologies -
Programming/scripting (C, Perl, Bourne shell) - Strong communication
skillsRequires US - Citizenship and local living status.
