  Title:  Lead Kernel Developer 
  Skills: Kernel PCI Unix Windows
  Desc:
    Local company is looking for a Project Lead or Senior Software Engineer
    with broad kernel development experience specializing in the design and
    development of new computer systems.

    Essential Functions: 
    Responsible for the design and development of the kernel software for next
    generation platforms. Also responsible for platform development technical
    leadership. This includes creating and executing design and development
    plans, influencing the technical design and architecture of the product,
    coding, testing, and evangelizing new development ideas, as well as
    representing client externally.

    Requirements: 
    Experience and familiarity with UNIX, LINUX, and/or Windows kernel
    software, Intel, Alpha, MIPS and/or SPARC system architectures and
    chipsets, and I/O bus protocols (e.g. PCI-X) is required. Previous
    technical and/or project leadership experience is highly desired.

    Education: Minimum BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent, MS CS/CE/EE preferred, with
    at least 6-8 years experience in the architecture, design, and development
    of kernel software for new computer systems.
