[vox-announce] LUGOD officer elections - nominations are open

As of tonight's meeting, nominations are being accepted for LUGOD's
four elected officer positions:  root (president),  sys (vice-president),
typescript (secretary)  and /dev/null (treasurer).

Our current officers are:

  root - Bill Kendrick
  sys - also Bill (took over when Henry House stepped down; not yet replaced)
  typescript - Nick Schmalenberger
  /dev/null - Henry House

If you would like to nominate someone for one or more position

Also note: At tonight's meeting, a vote was held to extend LUGOD officer
positions from 6 months to 1 year.  (Due to the relatively recent change to
our meeting schedule, voting takes twice as long as it used to, so it was
agreed that we may as well only do it once per year.  See tonight's
