The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), will be holding a meeting on:

  Monday
  March 17th, 2003
  6:30pm - 9:30pm
  (Doors open at 6:00pm; please try to arrive on-time!)


The meeting will be held at our normal location:

  Davis Library
  Blanchard Room
  315 East 14th Street
  Davis, CA 95616


The topic will be:

  KDE: The K Desktop Environment
 
  presented by: KDE Developers Ronald Krause and Charles Samuels
 
    KDE is a free, Open Source graphical desktop environment for Linux
    that includes a powerful web browser, office productivity applications,
    software development tools, games, support for over 50 spoken languages,
    and much more.  This undertaking is being done by volunteer developers
    throughout the world.  Two of them, Ronald Krause and Charles Samuels,
    will be coming to speak at this meeting!
