2000.09.27 Meeting Notes

Officer's Meeting

Topics:

  • Carpool - Jen Rutherford
No sign of interest so far. Should put Jen's e-mail address on the Meeting Directions page.

  • Money - Zach Johnson
Sam at Washington Mutual has not gotten back to us regarding $12/month service charges which we should not have been paying (due to our non-profit status). Due to these charges, we ended up overdrawing funds! Zach has approx. $600 in cash. Tomorrow all cash will be deposited and we will ask about getting an ATM card (for easier depositing) and if online banking is available. All bank correspondance will be sent directly to Zach's address during his role as Treasurer.

  • T-shirts - Bill Kendrick
Under construction - waiting for notes from Typescript

  • Demo - Henry House
Waiting for a response from Borders. Henry will try to schedule demos for multiple months at once. A demo will be almost definitely held at the Davis Co-Op on October 7th. The Davis Arts Center (on Covell and F Streets) declined our request to demo at their facility because they do not allow commercial demonstrations. (Yes, we tried to explain to them that we are not commercial!) We'll also schedule more Farmer's Markets (on some Wednesdays), as well.

  • Bylaws/Constitution - Pete Salzman
Will be discussed at the next Officer's Meeting (October 4th?)

  • Family Feud - Pete Salzman / Mark Kim
Mark Kim has begun construction of an answer buzzer system for the upcoming Linux Family Feud. It does not do sound yet, and only has LEDs.

Attendance:

  • Bill Kendrick
  • Melissa Hardenbrook
  • Pete Salzman
  • Rhonda Bailey
  • Zach Johnson
  • Jessica Leudtke
  • Henry House
  • Mark Kim
  • Jen Rutherford
