I poked around and got a sansa (sandisk) without video, which I've been very satisfied with. USB recharge and mini-sd upgradable. Maybe too small for what you're looking for though...<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

My old Creative Nomad Zen Xtra has been a good workhorse for about six<br>

an iPod but I'm told the latest ones do not play well with Linux.<br>
