I thought I might see some comments on the following headline and quote.

Windows 8 App Store Embraces Open Source Unlike Apple

A scan through an early version of a Microsoft app developer agreement
for Windows 8 has uncovered that open source apps will be allowed to
  circulate the upcoming Windows Store.

Windows 7 actually seems to work half way decent. An app store in
Windows 8 sounds like a way just another way to suck more money out
of you.

"There are two ways of constructing a software design. One way is to
make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies. And the other
way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies."
