The Closure Library is the open-source, server-agnostic JavaScript
library behind some of Google's biggest web apps like Gmail, Google
Docs, and others. It was released as open source software in 2009.
This session will tour the broad library, discuss its object-oriented
design and namespaced organization, and explain its comparative
relationship to other JavaScript libraries and toolkits. And, of
course, we'll cover how to integrate the Closure Library in your
serving setup, both for development and optimized for a live
application using Closure Compiler.

Nathan is a software engineer at Google. He works on user interface
for Google Books, one of many projects using Closure Library, a
project he contributes to as part of Google's "20% time". Open
sourcing Closure Library was his project with Daniel Nadasi of Sydney.
He joined Google in 2005 after graduating from the University of
Wisconsin with majors in computer science, political science, and
economics. He lives in San Francisco.

Meetings are open to the public and are free of charge.
