[vox] Novell has Unix ownership rights, not SCO

What's the real reason why Elliott Associates L.P. tried to buy Novell?
Is it to continue the holding customers hostage to proprietary software
upgrade cycles now that Novell is really the copyright holder of Unix?

The users should own Novell. Perhaps we should create a fund to purchase
a majority stake.

Perhaps software patents should be a thing of the past. It's like
