1. Shake 'em away
Sounds "fun", but honestly, I've got multiple desktops if I'm desparate.
And practically every app I run is maximized anyway, so it's easy to focus
on one thing at a time. I never have 60 windows opened on my screen
(except when I'm running Gimp :^/ )
2. Jumplists
Also sounds neat. However, I never use "recent documents" while outside of an app.
Sadly, of the few places I do -- in Kate -- it doesn't actually work.
(Known bug in Kate in KDE 4.3.2)
3. A step forward in previewing
Seen Linux do this kind of stuff years ago. I don't have it set up right now
(prob. because I have the laptop-heating bells and whistles disabled).
4. Snap into place
Also clever. For the latter part, for mouseless and frustrationless maximization,
I simply hit [Alt]+[F3] then [X]. I've also set up some windows (e.g. Konversation)
to behave a special way. (Konv is always at the bottom, horizontally-max'd,
immovable, no title bar, on all desktops, etc.)
5. XP Mode
LOL :)
6. An easier and quicker way to adjust multiple displays
Er, I guess I don't do dual displays or presentations enough.
(I don't wear a suit, either. ;) )
7. A personalised Stage for your device
Heh, wow. This is smelling a little MS Bob'ish, somehow.
Does a paperclip come out and tell you your drivers are out of date? ;)
8. (Almost) eliminate the notification area!
Yeah, KDE has that. I hide the less interesting icons, but can
bring them up by clicking the (<) icon. Hide them again with (>).
9. Problem Steps Recorder
Also neat. That reminds me, I need to make some screencasts
using "Wink." [*] (For both Tux Paint, and my day job!)
10. A brand new Magnifier tool
I do like that they have a 'follow mouse' mode. "kmag" does not.
I haven't really tried any others.
...
17. Native ISO Burner
Oh yeah! And I also heard that iPhones support MMSes now! >:^)
