[vox] Throttling router?

For whatever reason, I think that either the SOHO router creators either
believe that Joe 6-pack doesn't need that sort of functionality, or they
would prefer to reserve these functions for premium equipment.
Not really wanting to continue pushing the whole linux thing if you really
don't want to do that, but you could get that Linksys wireless router that
runs linux (I think something like a WRT54G, but you should double check
the model number), and compile your own firmware which does what you want.
 I think I saw an article about someone doing just that. For Mark's
reasons, that would satisfy #s 1 and 2.  For #3, I haven't played around
with one yet , so I don't know, but maybe there's a way to figure out what
rules they use.  Of course, maybe you won't like their rules anyway.
