Hey everyone!

For those of you who have no idea who I am, my name is Emily Stumpf. I
am a UCD graduate in computer science and now work as a tech monkey in
the Languages and Literature dept. on campus. I’ve been a Linux user
since I was a wee high schooler.

Mainly I’m running for root because I told Bill he Haaad to run for
president, right after he said “The next person who says that should
run!” Then I looked up the bylaws and saw that the duties for president
are to do, or delegate the doing of: signing things, running meetings,
overseeing committees, and checking the PO Box, and I would be
exceedingly good at these tasks.

I’m perfectly happy to let someone else be president actually, but they
must be better at these tasks than I am.

I am a worthy administrator, an inspiring leader, and I even have my own
pink "Root my box" t-shirt. I think there should be more girls that come
to Lugod and that a girl president would encourage that. If I were
president I would definitely be open to guidence and feedback cause I
know the club has been under one strong point of leadership and someone
new has the potential to come and mess stuff up, and I don't wanna do
that. I'm ready to put my time and energy into Lugod for the next 6th
months, if you guys want me!

Ciao!
