i found this to be extremely interesting.  a list of frequencies of
artists and songs that got people an RIAA lawsuit:

looks like downloading avril lavigne was most likely to cause people
grief.  i always suspected listening to her was a crime...

and can you imagine being the poor soul who got an RIAA lawsuit by
downloading a yanni tune?

it appears that 80's music is definitely represented - Aha, wham, kim
wilde, reo speedwagon, wang chung, berlin, dead or alive, thomas dolby,
etc.  hard to believe all that was 20 years ago.

it also appears that downloading the beatles, jimi hendrix, led
zeppelin, eric clapton and the rolling stones is statistically safe.
