Impromptu Cyber Moving Sale!
I'm offering to LUGOD members first, before stuff goes on Craig's List.
Yep, LUGODers, soon, I'm moving East to Floodville...err, I mean,
Annapolis, MD! Going from a 2-BR, 2-story house + cat to a 1-BR studio + 2
cats. Erg. Where's a spare cargo bay when you need one?
So, anyway, the following devices are up for grabs (i.e. low to no cost):
Printers:
(2) HP Deskjet 500 [Plus], work. Each includes an unopened HP ink
cartridge.
$10 each. First one also includes a ream of inkjet paper and a
bottle of refiller ink,
and a 10' parallel cable.
(The HP ink cartridges alone cost ~$26 ea...arrgh.)
(1) Epson ActionPrinter 5000, dot-matrix (needs a new fuse) in box.
Free (comes with box of laser-perf paper--woo hoo!)
Switchboxes (Free)
DB-25 (metal, TEMPEST rated, heh-heh), ABC (1-3 devices)
DB-25 (metal, TEMPEST rated), ABC (1-3 devices)
I cannot divulge the nature of the data that once flowed
through these boxes, and can neither confirm nor deny
that any such data actually existed. Or that I exist. (poof!)
DB-25 (Black Box, plastic housing), AB (1-2 devices)
DB-25 (metal), AB (1-2 devices)
RJ-11 (metal housing), ABCD (1-4 phone devices)
Monitors (I upgraded to LCD monitors and a KVM switch):
KDS 17" color SVGA monitor, about 2 years old.
$30 (was $250 new...that's how it goes).
Have original box/packing material and manual.
(brand unknown) 17" color SVGA monitor, about 3 years old.
Free. Was only used with Linux operating systems!
Lineage: UCD Bargain Barn.
CTX 15" 5468NR SVGA color monitor
$15 to a good home. It served me well.
(brand unknown) 12" mono VGA monitor with extra-long video cable.
Free.
I *might* even be able to deliver the lighter items to you in Davis,
(though at the moment I can't move a 17" monitor myself.).
Misc
Casio CZ-1 synth (perfect condition).
Ashbury mini-scale bass, blue.
"Acoustic" brand 120watt + 320watt 4-channel bass amp head.
Matching 4x10" cabinet, metal grating, fuzzy sides.
I'm sure I have other hardware and networking items that
I haven't yet been uncovered. Things like...
- 10Base-T , KVM , mouse, kbd, and serial cables;
- 66 blocks, fiber optic cables;
- keyboards (an old IBM kbd that you could use as a baseball bat!), laser
paper,
- Quake II for Linux, a few Tomb Raider versions + cheat, er, ah, "guide"
books,
- the 11th Hour game (possibly the 7th Guest, too)
- floppy drives, smaller hard drives, drive cooler fans, slot fans;
- older Intel processors
- you name it!
Thanks for your consideration in taking these off my hands.
