It may depend on the distro but I believe it's in /etc/default/grub on Debian. I want the update-grub to add the following option <br>

pti=off<br>
<br>
to the auto generated kernels in /boot/grub/menu.lst<br>
<br>
Where do I add the option? <br>
<br>
I see /etc/grub.d/ <br>
<br>
I see a bunch of files there, but I have no clue where to automatically<br>
add this option so that it adds it to the kernel line for the kernel.<br>
