Can you elaborate on that, or provide a link? AFAIK you have to, at some point, configure your printer to use your access point (router), which they should find difficult to do (certainly unintentionally). Alternatively, you could have set up their network access point as an alternative to your own on your computer, and your  computer could have connected there instead of to your own access point if it had difficulty with your AP this morning. Once identified by your computer as usable printers, that information might be retained even after your computer reconnects to your own network. So, are they usable?
