[vox-tech] Thunderbird attachments

I use Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 as my mail client.  Since I upgraded, it no
longer associates .doc files with OpenOffice.  When I go to the
Edit->Preferences->View & Edit Actions menu there is no option to add an
action for doc files.  I googled around to no avail.  Does anyone have
any experience with this aspect of Thunderbird?  Basically I want to be
able to click on the attachment and have it opened in OpenOffice.
