[vox-tech] FireWire and Ethernet Confusion on Debian

On my gentoo box I have a file "/etc/hotplug/blacklist".  Kernel modules 
in there are not loaded when hotplug runs.  If I had your problem, I 
would put "eth1394" in that file.
