[vox-tech] dvd and strange filenames

You want Joliet extensions to map DOS-style 8+3 filenames to long filenames
in windows 95 or greater. Rock Ridge extensions do the same for Unix/Linux
but AFAIK are not recognized by windows.

The previous comes from my knowledge of burning CDs. I thoght that DVDs used
a more-recently introduced filesystem, not ISO9660, that addressed the
limitations of ISO9660?
