You might check or post in the "desktop environments" forum
at http://forums.gentoo.org/.  I remember deciding a week
or so ago, based on reports in there, that I would avoid
upgrading to Qt-3.3 (from 3.2.3-r1), but do not recall
exactly what the issues were.
