[vox-tech] backing up DVDs (was Re: [vox] fair use / DVD questions)

I have had my eyes on the exact same (708UF) drive for awhile now.

Maybe my boss will pick one up soon (I hope).

I have no idea what DVD-RAM format is, though.

I think 2.0 motherboards are out there, and 2.0 support has been in the ehci
driver for awhile now (since early versions of 2.4, I think).
