One small problem, the disks will wear out after a few thosand write cycles=
.=20
This will happen faster then you think, as the superblock and whatnot get=
=20
written to quite often.

also, I think a kernel patch is required.

I've been doing this. It's easier then authoring. X-CD-Roast supports=20
burrning DVDs with cdrecord-ProDVD, so you might try that.

BTW, while CD-R/RWs actualy are 700MiB, DVD=B1R/RWs are 4480MiB, not 4700Mi=
B.
