[vox-tech] Print server

Disregard my last post, I think I'm muddling thru - BUT!!

I need to run xpdq, and on this machine, I have GNOME Desktop Manager login
screen that doesn't allow me to login as root.  How do I shutdown X (ive
tried ctrl alt backspace, but the desktop manager keeps popping up). I want
to login as root at the terminal then launch X
