< --- using a testing update ... was kind of surprised on Sunday when an
'aptitude dist-upgrade' sucked down 34 megs of updates, including tar, diff,
sed, and a number of other basic-level components.

I haven't had any serious breakage, but then I'm not using my home machine
for a lot outside of websurfing, basic stuff ...and oh yeah, that shell
scripting for dummies course at ARC.  Wonder what's going to happen when I
try to do this week's homework.

Any particular crashes I should look for?
