Keywords: partition, resize partition, ext2, fat32, new hard disk

http://www.ranish.com/part/
http://www.igd.fhg.de/~aschaefe/fips/ (v2.0)
http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/people/chaffee/fips/fips.html (v1.5)
http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/

(Above links from my linux install how to for a fujitsu laptop)

One for just ext2:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/admin/ext2resize.html
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/powertools/6.2/i386/i386/ext2resize-1.0.5-4.i386.html

As with any operation like partition resizing, there is risk for FAILURE.
I have not had problems with Ranish, FIPS 2.0 or Partition magic, but that
does not mean too much, as I've only used each less than 20 times over
several years.

It is always a good idea to backup your data before attempting something
like this.

Enjoy,
