Nope - VIA KM266 main chip. I think everything else is pretty much VIA.
It's a PC Chips M825L running a dual boot with Debian Sid / Win98SE via
eXtended Operating System Loader (www.xosl.org).

These are in my .config:

CONFIG_ACPI=y
# CONFIG_ACPI_DEBUG is not set
CONFIG_ACPI_BUSMGR=y
CONFIG_ACPI_SYS=y
# CONFIG_ACPI_CPU is not set
# CONFIG_ACPI_BUTTON is not set
# CONFIG_ACPI_AC is not set
# CONFIG_ACPI_EC is not set

# CONFIG_APM is not set

I have tried enabling both ACPI and APM. Neither has fixed it.

Same thing happens if I just power off with big button on front of ATX case
(ie hold down for 5 seconds). If I power off at PSU, no problem. However,
Windows 98SE shuts the port off no problem on shutdown. There must be
a software method of doing this. Perhaps a command to add to the halt script?

Mouse turns off ok if I unplug and then reinsert.

Have I included too much / enough from the last emails in this post?
